All my dad wanted for his birthday was to have his whole family in Idaho at the farm. He also wanted to get a work day in with all his sons and sons in law. So that's what we did. While all the guys went to help build a fence we swam at the hotel, went to see the new colts, prepared a birthday picnic for everyone at the park, and did a lot of swinging. The kids had a blast, and I think my dad was really happy. And he deserves to have a happy birthday...he's the best dad in world.
Yes, it's what you're thinking...Davis WOULD NOT stop picking up old cow pies. Gross. He even tasted one.
The man of the hour. All the guys and the birthday boy took a break from building fence to eat birthday lunch.

I think our dad's are brothers from another mother! My dad just had his 60th and all he wanted was to go to the cabin with the family and work and do a hike. They are just country boys at heart!
This looks like SO much fun! I love all the farm pics with the kids - the fence, the tractor, the horses... perfect. Reminds me of a lot of Paul's childhood photos:) Davis is the cutest little guy there ever was. I was a little worried he was going to get eaten by those horses, but it looks like he made it out ok. Happy 60th to Tim - he's a great one! (I want a frozen fig newton right now just thinking about him)
