We had a great holiday. Sad to see it end, but kind of happy to get back to normal life.
The day after Christmas we had a fun family sledding day. I wasn't sure if Grant would really like it, (since he's kind of the cautious kind) but he had a great time and kept saying "more slide!"

Olive on the other hand, is totally fearless and went down the hill all by herself in the tube. Then we put all three of them in the tube and pushed them down. They loved it.

This is a classic Grant face. He makes this face all the time.

Christmas morning was fun. Grant was most excited when he pulled out a tiger toothbrush from his stocking!

Then he got a coloring book...

and tried to open the crayons by eating them. It's his way of opening things.

Then got really excited about the bubbles he found...

and tried to open them by eating them too.

He realized that wrapping paper doesn't taste very good.

And a football! YAY!

Wow, a life jacket!

My mom and Dad did the rounds this year since we do Christmas day at their house every other year. They gave Grant a shopping cart that he is obsessed with. It's the only toy he ever plays with now.

The weekend before Christmas we went to see the lights on Temple square and listen to my mom's choir sing at the Assembly Hall. She sings with the Mapleton Chorale. They did a great job.

Grant couldn't stop pointing at the lights long enough to take a pic.

The Annual Pierce Family Christmas Party. We always act out the nativity story and now that the kids are getting a little bit older they did a great job.

Lily and Haley were such pretty angels.

Lucy was such a sweet Mary. She was so reverent the entire time and just kept looking at her baby Jesus with that precious smile.

The girls all got fun dress-up skirts from Grandma along with purses full of lip gloss, oh how happy they were!

Grandma made all the boys a new soft blanket. Here is Grant opening his present.

He threw it on the floor, but he really does love it, I promise mom.

And finally the annual Santa picture. We saw Santa a couple of weeks before Christmas and Grant didn't even cry. I was very surprised. Although I don't think he was that thrilled. It's a pretty classic Santa picture.
